Assuming that you have good vision, any tint shade lighter than ‘limo black’ should be fine. Limo black is fine in daylight, but it can make seeing out harder at night. For example, if you’re backing up in a very darkĀ area with no street lights, then your reverse lights may not be bright enough for you to see well. In this case, rolling down the driver’s side window and looking out may be sufficient for you.
As a safety precaution, it’s always a good practice to walk around your vehicle to look for obstructions before backing up, whether or not you have tinted windows.
